The Business Forum's objectives are:

  • To act as an umbrella organisation that brings together representation across all business sectors in Torbay
  • To gather viewpoints and provide a platform from which to interface primarily with Torbay Council, the TDA and Heart of South West LEP
  • To provide support wherever required to attract inward investment
  • To influence economic decision making whenever deemed appropriate

Representatives of associations, large companies and other business sectors sit on the Executive and additional members support the sub groups:

  • Transport, Communications & Manufacturing
  • Finance & Funding
  • Planning & Town Centres
  • Marine, Tourism & Fisheries
  • Membership & PR

Everyone in business in the Bay, once registered, is a member.  There are no membership fees.
