Torbay Development Agency manages council owned buildings through its Facilities Management team. All tenants of council owned and operated buildings can contact the FM help desk for an efficient response covering a range of issues including:

• Repair and maintenance when building items or services are not working or damaged
• Resupply of vending machines, water coolers and toilet facilities
• Cleaning enquiries or complaints
• Alarm system defects
• Storage requirements
• Plans to reorganise or improve office layouts

The aim is to help by making things as easy as possible. The benefits of everyone using this system are:

• Problems can be logged promptly at any time of day
• Work can be prioritised
• Building related issues can be tracked to make sure they are resolved
• The volume of calls and response times are recorded and users are updated accordingly
