Ignite your business – the benefits of an apprentice

On Friday 8 March, TDA is hosting a free information seminar for Torbay businesses to learn about the benefits of taking on an apprentice or upskilling existing employees.
This partnership event is taking place at the Riviera International Conference Centre during National Apprenticeship Week and will feature local partners who are available to support you through the apprenticeship journey.
Rebecca Davies, TDA Senior Economic Development Officer and Chair of the Apprenticeship Working Group, said: “Apprenticeships are a great path for people at any stage of their career, from those starting out to those re-entering the workforce, or those wanting to upskill or change their careers. Come with your ‘burning’ questions, we'd like to answer them!
“A skilled workforce is one of the most valuable assets a company can have. Now is the time to invest and bring new energy and passion into your business.”
Sign up to learn the facts about apprenticeships and what it means for your business. Hear from businesses and apprentices about the benefits of employing an apprentice. The event also includes case studies, ‘myth busting’ and a Q&A.
Registration is at 2pm with the event ending at 5pm after networking opportunities.
