TDA launches new Employers' Guide to Skills

To make it easier for local businesses to take advantage of training and funding available in the Bay, Torbay Council’s economic development company - Torbay Development Agency (TDA), Productive Skills for the Heart of the South West and the Torbay and South Devon Employment and Skills Board have produced a fully interactive Employers’ Guide to Skills.

The previous guide has been revamped to utilise drop down category listings and a keyword search system, providing fast access to specific local training provisions.

The guide now has direct integration with the TDA website to allow instant changes so information will remain continuously up to date.

Training provisions listed are from both private and public sector organisations from across Torbay and South Devon offering a wide-range of options for employers.

The skills guide was designed to help businesses make greater use of the local services and programmes on offer, some of which is completely FREE.

It’s thought this fully interactive guide is the first of its kind in the country, certainly within the area. Any training provider that wishes to have their courses listed free of charge as part of the guide, should contact Nicola Scoon on 01803 208369 or email [email protected]
