Torbay Local Transport Plan

Third Torbay Local Transport Plan 2011-2026

No matter how you travel it is important that you can get around easily.
That’s why we want your help and ideas on how we make you travel now and over the next 15 years better and more in tune with your own needs as well as those of Torbay (and Devon) as a whole.
By developing a joint LTP3, we can help ensure the common needs of the wider Devon area are reflected, but it will also allow areas of joint interest, such as cross boundary connection issues like the Totnes to Paignton link, to be addressed.
We are consulting on the draft Devon and Torbay Third Local Transport Plan documents from the Friday 5 November 2010.
For more information and to have your say please go to http://devoncc.limehouse.co.uk/portal. Paper copies will be available at local libraries, Council offices and on request.
Not all of the documents will be available from 5 November as a result of the Government’s Comprehensive Spending Review at the end of October. Devon and Torbay must take account of the spending priorities and emerging policies as far as possible in developing the LTP. Consultation on some of the documents will therefore start slightly later to ensure that they fully reflect these announcements.
The final version of the plan will take as much account as possible of the comments made during the consultation period. The timetable is constrained by the need to have the final document approved by the Cabinets and Full Councils of both authorities during January and February. We would very much appreciate your comments as early as possible.
