New business survival rates can be increased substantially by the delivery of a range of valuable support services and the provision of flexible and low-cost business premises. These two principles have already been successfully established at the first new Torbay Innovation Centre at South Devon College Vantage Point campus in Paignton.
The second centre at Lymington Road in central Torquay is comprised of 960m2 and up to 30 units.
The goal of the Torbay Innovation Centres is to create new companies and support their growth, enabling them to create and sustain new and high value jobs for the local economy. Each Centre will comprise a "hub" of business support, creating a network that will eventually spread out right across Torbay.
