Mayor of Torbay Gordon Oliver said: "This is a great opportunity for local companies and organisations that offer services to businesses to come along and showcase themselves at this government supported regional event. Torbay Council and its economic development company, Torbay Development Agency, is committed to putting Torbay on the map as a centre for business - and this event will help to do just that - at the same time as supporting local enterprise and helping to generate growth.
21st Century Business is the second day of a two-day programme running on 7 and 8 February instigated by central Government to boost the regional economy, in partnership with School for Startups.
Doug Richard said: "The potential in Torbay is tremendous, and with the government backed development plans there is a real opportunity for companies young and old to benefit. Come along to both our events and learn the best of the digital tricks and techniques and which pitfalls you should avoid".
