An award-winning photographer is set to be the keynote speaker at South West Businesses Centres’ next business breakfast.

Regional businesses and entrepreneurs are invited to a networking opportunity at Exmoor House in Dulverton on Friday 3 July, starting at 8am.

Made Portraits photographer, Neil Bremner, who has won 89 awards for his craft, will talk about his remarkable achievement, just two years after setting up his studio in Glastonbury. He will also reveal why he chose to locate in Somerset, and his thoughts on why it is a good place to do business.

Delegates will also hear from Julian Maitland-Walker, Chairman of local business network, ‘Business Exmoor’.

The event is supported by Somerset County Council, which is working to drive business growth, innovation and investment in Somerset through its five enterprise centres at Frome, Highbridge, Minehead, Barle near Dulverton and Wheddon Cross – all managed on the Council’s behalf by South West Business Centres.

South West Business Centres provides help and advice for businesses that are starting up, and businesses aiming to grow. A number of events will be provided regularly to develop networking opportunities across the South West.

Cllr David Hall, Cabinet Member for Business, Inward Investment and Policy at Somerset County Council, said: “If you own an expanding or start-up business in Somerset, and especially if you’re based in the Dulverton area, I would urge you to start the day with this event. As a Council we are committed to promoting business growth, investment and opportunity in our county, and pleased to support these opportunities for entrepreneurs to come together.”

Adrian Sheen, Innovation Centres Manager for South West Business Centres, said: “I am looking forward to hearing the secrets of Neil’s considerable success, and am sure that he will be an inspiration to our delegates. I am also delighted to welcome Julian Maitland-Walker, who will introduce Business Exmoor.

“Our regular, informal networking events are proving very popular with local businesses and the flexible easy tenures, competitive rates and access to business support services offered by Somerset Enterprise Centres are also proving invaluable.”

The nearby Barle Enterprise Centre on the outskirts of Dulverton offers companies a dedicated facility to help support their business. With flexible easy tenures, competitive rates and business support services they are ideal for any business.

The cost to attend this event is £5 to cover breakfast. Register your place at the Dulverton business breakfast by visiting www.eventbrite.co.uk
