TDA has developed a new, dynamic business networking event for organisations across the South West.

The first Eat. Drink. Network event is on Friday 5 June 2015 at Vantage Point Business Centre, Paignton, from 8:00am – 9:30am.

For just £8.00 networkers can enjoy a light breakfast with refreshments while building relationships with other businesses across Torbay and South Devon, receiving practical business advice and listening to motivational speakers.

The inaugural event will hear from guest speakers Keith Richardson and Marion China will engage in a debate around Business Management in Devon’s tourism industry. Keith is the owner of Richardson Hotel Group, with a portfolio that includes the Grand Hotel, Torquay, and Marion is the Manager of the Babbacombe Bay Hotel.

Adrian Sheen, Business Centres Manager for South West Business Centres, said: “Networking breakfasts such as this are a good way to meet new contacts, develop leads and boost your business. They are vital in helping grow our local economy.

“We conducted market research to establish local business priorities. The results helped us rebrand our networking event and will assist delivery of an exciting new event that meets local business needs.

“75% of our respondents agreed that a form of business debate would appeal to them. This brings dynamism to the event that will prompt like minded business people to question varying management styles and techniques.”

The new event will have a clear purpose, have a less formal atmosphere and structure, and serve specific market sectors. This will make it easier for companies to network, the primary objective of the event, and do business.

Key business topics that will be presented and debated will include Marketing and Sales, Business Management, Technology, Finance and Accounting, International Business and Exports and Managing Employees.

The event will take place each month at Vantage Point Business Centre, Paignton or Lymington Road Business Centre, Torquay.
Businesses in the South West will be invited to the events by email. To register your place book online
