TDA
The Torbay Development Agency (TDA) is a public / private sector partnership created to ensure the regeneration and future sustainability of Torbay, for the benefit of those people living, working and visiting the area. We employ a dedicated and professional team, who lead on major projects and initiatives which will benefit the people and businesses of Torbay.
Established by Torbay Council in 2004 the Agency has responsibility for five distinct activity areas, which together represent the drive for a sustainable economic future for Torbay, for more information on each of these activities please follow the links listed below:

Business Boost
Supporting local businesses and helping them to grow is a key priority for Torbay and the Torbay Development Agency.
The Torbay Development Agency has developed a series of business support programmes designed to equip local businesses with a greater understanding of business issues as well as to stimulate ideas for business improvement, development and growth.
Business Hub Consultation
Residents and traders are being asked for their views on a £6.8m plan to create new, state of the art offices in Torquay to help attract investment into the Bay and hundreds of jobs. Torbay Business Hub is part of the Castle Circus Regeneration Project, which aims to regenerate the town centre, bring council services under one roof and create major savings.

New building at Cockington is given planning permission
Torbay Council has given the go-ahead fo a new building at Cockington Court, which will house 15 purpose built studios, a resource area and support office.
Topping out ceremony at Paignton Library and Information Centre
The final peice of concrete has been placed on the roof of the new multi-million pound library and community centre for Paignton by Torbay's Mayor Nick Bye.
