Hours of work

Employees are contracted to a 37 hour week with a flexible working arrangement. Flexitime gives you the ability to work a wider variety of hours to meet service user needs and support. The aim of flexitime is gain a better work life balance.

Learning and professional development

As an Investors In People employer, TDA is committed to the development of their staff. There are a number of professional and personal development opportunities available to all staff to help them reach their full potential. This could be in the form of training courses or undertaking further professional qualifications to develop your career and skills, professionally and personally.


The starting basic annual leave entitlement for all employees across all pay bands is 25 days plus public holidays. An extra day’s leave is given for every completed year of continuous service up to a maximum of 5 days.

Wellbeing at work

A range of activities are available for employees to access and take part in.  These activities can help to support and improve fitness and wellbeing. Counselling is offered as a free and confidential service available to support employees with a range of issues, work related or personal, as it is recognised that both can cause stress and concern and impact on both work performance and personal life.
